How to Check Your Name for PVC Collection
In case you are not sure whether your name exists in the PVC issuance register don’t worry. Here’s a simple guide:
- Visit the INEC Website: Click on the link to the INEC 2024 CVR PVC Issuance Register for Edo State at INEC 2024 CVR PVC Register.
- Select Your Local Government Area (LGA): Once on the site, choose the LGA where you registered.
- Choose Your Registration Area: A list of registration areas will be displayed. Click on yours.
- Find Your Name: A PDF list of registered voters will appear. Check to ensure your name is listed.
Where to Collect Your PVC
Your PVC will be available in the same place you registered. For instance, if you are registered in a particular school, returning to that school will be necessary to receive your card.

What should I Do If My Name is Not on The PVC Issuance Register?
If your name does not appear in the PVc issuance register first of all make sure that you are checking the right LGA and registration area; if still not listed then contact INEC office in your local area for further support.
Can Somebody Else Collect My PVC on My behalf?
Response: No; please come in person for collection of your Permanent Voters Card as INEC demands your presence to authenticate your identity and registration details before they will hand over the PVC.
When Should I Collect My PVC?
Response: You can only obtain your card up to Sunday, September 8th, 2024.
Ensure that you visit the registration center where you registered and get it before this deadline as it is required to enable you vote in the Edo Governorship election on September 21st, 2024.
